Kamio Misuzu from the anime A I R. An excellent series! Both in terms of the storyline and animation. I’ve only watched 3 episodes so far [was kinda slow cuz I’d been repeatedly watching the first few episodes instead of moving on]… I only have one qualm regarding this anime. I heard that it has a sad ending… *whimpers*

I *hate* sad endings… ^^;

The face proportion was inked with a 0.1 technical pen while the rest was done using pigment ink+calligraphy brush pens [lazylazylazy…!]. Coloured using Kurecolor and Copic Sketch markers. The marker I used for skin tone ran out. I had to desperately squeeze out whatever was left of it and made do with some other colour for the remainder of the pic. The result was -- ick! And don’t say anything about the hand. Deformed, I know. I’d like to forget about that, please. And I left out the bow on her dress.

There won’t be anymore coloured drawings after this unless I can get my ass to KL’s Kinokuniya and get a new ‘Milky white’ Copic Sketch marker for the skin tones…


Tools: sketchpad paper, 0.5 mechanical pencil, 0.1 pigment ink pen, technical pen, 0.7 Uni-ball white gel pen, Copic Sketch & Kurecolor markers.

Oh, yes they are! ^^ And I totally feel your pain. Copic markers aren't available where I live either. Had to travel quite a distance to get them.

I've just began watchin teh series 2 days ago and exactly like U - i didnt want to move on :] Adorable onset and chars and ... omg, the style and vision as overall is glamorous.. and u've interpreted that so darn well in ur pic ^_______^ it enfills me :] gotta wub Misuzu :heart: she's so innocent, I like how she blushes :] more than just a good job - really catches the eye! :D

Craftmanship is good as always ^^x i love how you shaded her. The hair is especially nice, the way it just flys out. I also like how you put the cloud background, it makes her really stand out. She looks really kind and giving but her expression is kinda mixed to me... is she sad, because if she is then that would be understandable. If she was happy though, it'd be kinda confusing for this one to see the happy Oox Her eyes look so sad... like she's running to some one to help them. Lolx i'm not so sure 'bout the expression but i love every thing else ^^x
