Artist's Comments  Hello everyone~  It's been a loooong time since my last update, I know.  Too many assignments and far too busy to draw anything decent. :: sighs :: Anyways, I wasn't sitting around doing nothing ( a considerable feat since procrastinating IS my favourite past time). This was done for my character design assignment (one which I sacrificed a LOT of sleep over). We had to create a character based on some pairs of traits given. It was not as simple as just drawing the character onto paper, there's a whole process to follow.... which was what made it tedious. Mine is under the 'cute and cunning' category. I'll put her profile way at the bottom of this description so that you can skip it if you don't feel like reading such utter lack of creativity. >_> Actually this wasn't mean't to be the final but there was just no time to draw a better version. She wasn't all that hard to come up with and I suppose the design isn't all that original, is it? She's supposed to be a neo-futuristic hacker girl so I thought: ... short hair would look fitting.... and make it pink while you're at it (cuz colouring pink hair is fun~!). X3 I'm pretty simple-minded, you see. I imagined her world to be full of bright, neon colours, hence the chosen hues for her clothes. Ignore the weird pose. Ahh.... I have more to write but I can't think of any else to say right now. >_< Oh.... and expect more of her this week. I'm still scanning and cleaning up the rest. Generally an optimistic person, has a one-track mind, stubborn and determined to a fault, won't hesitate in reaching her goal and can never be forced into doing something unwillingly, may appear slightly self-centered at times. - Despite her brains, she has a habit of mixing up places and names and often finds herself lost even with her laptop's superior navigational capabilities. - She likes to think of herself as a tomboy even though she is fond of the colour pink (note the hair XD) - Carries her laptop around (often in a bag strapped to her waist) like an extra limb. - Considers 'analogue' as the greatest insult one could ever fling at her. - Currently on the run for infiltrating a hush-hush, top secret, highly classified government network in search of some information regarding her missing brother. - Forced out of her crummy apartment on the topmost floor of a rundown pachinko parlour and into hiding, she lives on food hacked out of vending machines (almost everything is chip-based in the future and Chanta, being the talented hacker that she is, can hack into anything with 'silicon' in it.) She strays away from banks as she thinks it is '"too much work" and insists that even hackers have their own code of ethics. --- There's actually a more detailed background story created for her but I will graciously spare you the torture for now.
