Might move this one to 'scraps' too. Oh, and be prepared for a long-winded ramble.

Did this at my aunt's house. There was a small gathering there cuz she and her husband are going for Haj this year. I sneaked into my elder cousin's room armed with my mp3 player, hoping to dig through his PC for the vast mp3 collection he stored in it. But alas... he'd brought the PC along with him to... wherever it was that he'd gone to. So I was stuck with an empty computer desk and nothing to do. There wasn't even a clean sheet of A4 paper to draw on. I could only find a black-inked ballpen and an unopened old *Astro catalogue. I ripped that open and took out the A4 sheet inserted in front of the catalogue [the one that had the recipent's address on it], flipped it backwards and drew on that.

I wanted to leave this on the desk at first… just so he’d find it. But I think I like this too much to not keep it. LOL! XD

My elder cousin and I were rather close when we were kids. He used to come over and we’d play stupid games like… While in the car, we’d stare out the back window to spot cars with similar plate numbers and make fun of the drivers, imagining them as all sorts of quirky characters. It was real silly. I can’t say I remember much about how it was back then but I knew they had been good times. Now, well, we’ve both grown and naturally drifted apart over the years. I still see him but we’re not as close as we were back then. But there was one thing he said to me a long, long time ago that’s still stuck with me till now. I think it was during the time I first got truly into anime (was obsessed with Sailormoon back then) and he said to me, “Wait a few years more and you won’t even care about these stuff,” or something to that effect. I was pretty irked cuz I was absolutely sure I’d still be deeply immersed in anime even 10 years from now.

It’s been 8 years [or so I think] since then. And I’m still here. Still doing the things I do, obsessing over bishies, and drawing. I think I’ve proven him wrong. Too bad he probably doesn’t even remember it. I drew for him, initially. But… never mind. XD

Btw... the gun wasn't drawn according to the original design. I didn't have the reference with me at that time. I simply drew it based on my (very terrible) memory. XD;

i dunno how many times i've been told 'anime is just a phase, it'll pass'... grr stupid people! it's nice to know that others will use scraps n backs of paper for the sake of drawing. my mom used to bring home all this copy paper that didn't print right or didn't need anymore at her work, so i'd dig it up n have a whoooole lotta paper to draw on.... waha!!

as for the drawing itself, i really like the design of the wings cuz they're not the traditional fluffy or demon wings. it almost looks like it could be a tattoo. hehe, the jacket reminds me of squall... probably cuz the fur/fluffy thing on the collar.

Weee~~ ^^ Yeah. I'll draw on anything with a flat surface if I'm desperate. XD And thank you! I like doing wings like that. They're much easier to draw than feathered ones. X3 As for the jacket, I have this unfathomable fixation to fur that never seem to go away. :D

ya, sometimes the feathered wings will kick my butt in drawing... i wouldn't mind tryin to draw some kinda like yours (haven't tried it yet..) if i do, you could look n tell me how it compares.... lol
