Artist's Comments  HOMG~ ~Hanesihiko LIVESSS~~!!! *gasp* I'm so very sorry for the ridiculously long absence of new artwork... This is for  . Our art trade of sorts. It took ages to finish, I almost went insane. LOL~ Actualy, it wouldn't have taken half as long if I hadn't procrastinated as much. >__>; Really sorry... This was done using Copic Sketch markers (per usual) and slightly 'tweaked' using Photoshop. For normal, un-enhanced version: [link] I wanted the drawing to not contain any sort of natural element whatsoever. Even the flowers are mechanical. This pic was supposed to convey beauty, albeit in a cold, 'far-off from reality' kind of way. The scanner ruined the colour a little.... the sash was supposed to be crimson instead of brown. So many mistakes here and there... I was experimenting using a new paper and it didn't turn out well at all in the end. I think I'll probably stick with sketchpad/ A4 paper next time. Erm.... please don't mind the abundance of 'negative space'. I attempted to put a background but failed tragically so I just let it be. I accidentally resized this a tad smaller and deleted the original file, oh god. *stabs self* ---You can skip the description below if you wish--- The character is Rikyou, an original from my non-existent Hanne Monogatari story, the previous chosen maiden (before Hirari) who died mysteriously. Their physical features resemble each other quite a bit except for Rikyou's longer hair and the colour of her eyes.
