My first ever original character that was created mainly for my own purposes and not as a self-insertion into an already existing manga/anime. She's supposed to be for a story that I had planned in my head for a while but cuz of severe creative-block [which spans even till today], the said story probably won't be going anywhere anytime soon. Not saying that it was going anywhere in the first place, knowing my laziness.... >_>

As for the wings, I tried to make it look a bit different than the usual wings that you've seen in other artworks. Not sure it worked, though. I always fail miserably at creating something totally original. I don't like the color of the wings but I don't have markers of a lighter shade. I've only just begun collecting markers, you see. XD

I like everything except for her dress.........having it in a single tone makes it too basic and u cant really see what's going on. Change that and it would definitely be a :+fav:

This looks absolutely mind-blowing o_o
but the detail on the wing has a real bad contrast with how plain
the rest of her is...
If you worked harder... say, on your background and clothing...
You'd be up there with the big boys, selling prints for sure.
You've got a crapload of untapped potetial.
I hope to see more of your stuff in the future.
This is still a fave, even though it could be better...
it's just that good ^_^

Hahaha for the comic idea i know how you feel, i've tried over and over again with pointless out comes to make a complete one ... but alas, i'm lazy as well (the farthest i've ever gotten was fourty eight pages :cries: and it sucked big time too). It would have been better, i think, if the wings had been a lighter shade as well. As for the style of the wings i like them, they look whispy and whimsical (sp?? :XD: i suck at spelling). To me she looks like that sweet girl next door that is really good at things but doesn't like to admit it :D

48 pages????!!! Holy SHIT! That's a lot more than I'd ever manage to come up with in a lifetime!! *looks at u in awe* You.... are extraodinary! *_* You should give urself more credit!

This whole pic actually came out darker than the original after it's trip through the scanner. Bah!

Your comment is one of my favourites... LOL! And your description of her character is spot on, BTW! I'm pleasantly surprised and very happy with that! I soooo :heart: you!!!

no but honest to god it was really bad!! :XD: i threw it away...my friends seemed to like it though...it was bout these three girls who were transferred to another world to save the world from its disruptive goddess. I called it Uciru and ...well...now that i think about it it reminded me of Rayearth :XD: but back then i didn't know bout it oOx
