There's no mixed media option on dA anymore, is there?
BBC Merlin fanart, AU-ish. I wanted to draw Merlin looking unabashedly magic, and Arthur being utterly captivated. Pfffhhh. And yes, Arthur is pulling at Merlin's cloak. Bad Arthur. That's not how you seduce pretty warlocks to be your court sorcerer.
Oh how I angst-ed over their faces because everything looked wonky after working on this for too long... and Arthur's armour doesn't really make sense - I made it up as I went and thank god most of it can't be seen anyway, haha.
The background colours are so strange and random and I'm not sure if I even like it but it is what it is. =_=
There's supposed to be some corny line to accompany this but I couldn't think of anything and I've been stuck on this thing for long enough, I just really wanted it done. Couldn't finish it in time for the anniversary of the finale on December last year.
